    Scholars Day | November 15, 2025
    Keynote Speaker: Temi Adediji

Temi is a junior at Stetson University majoring in Political Science and English with a minor in Africana Studies. He is a recipient of the J. Ollie Edmunds Scholarship, a four-year full-ride merit scholarship. Temi is passionate about law and advocacy and plans to pursue a career as a federal prosecutor after he graduates.

Temi grew up in Edgewood, MD, where he attended Edgewood High School. Through his International Baccalaureate program, Temi began to explore his interests in racial studies and African American history, writing his Extended Essay on “The Effect of Sociopolitical Factors on Hip-Hop”. He deepened his passion for writing and the art of language through poetry contests and his editorial work on Edgewood’s literary magazine.

On campus, Temi is President of Stetson’s Undergraduate Mock Trial Team and Co-President of the newly founded Black Law Students Association (BLSA). As the leader of Stetson Mock Trial, Temi carries forward the program’s legacy and strengthens its standing as one of the premier teams in the country. He guided the team to its first national appearance in school history last year and earned All-American honors, the highest award an undergraduate attorney can achieve in the country. In his first semester as co-president of BLSA, Temi helped build a community for aspiring Black and minority pre-law students dedicated to academic excellence, professional success, and service.

Outside of Stetson, Temi interned at Kuehne Davis Law P.A., working with Criminal Defense Attorney Michael Davis, Secretary of Stetson’s Board of Trustees. During the semester, he interns at LandisGrahamFrench P.A., where he learns under the mentorship of Attorneys Gloersen and Ford.

Temi looks forward to his remaining time at Stetson University, where he hopes to enhance the pre-law program by investing in experiential learning and fostering a community where every student’s potential can flourish.

He credits his faith, the Edmunds family, Professor Sven Smith, Attorney Michael Davis, and Stetson’s faculty, staff, and alumni for opening the academic and professional doors that have allowed him to pursue and develop his passions.
