    Take a sneak peek into Stetson’s MFA of the America’s program with brief readings by faculty in prose, poetry in the expanded field, as well as MFA staff. Featuring:

    TERESA CARMODY is the Director of the MFA of the Americas creative writing program. Co-founder of Les Figues Press, her most recent novel is The Reconception of Marie.

    RACHEL CLEVELAND (MFAofA Program Coordinator) is a nonfiction writer currently working on a memoir about faith, mental illness, and Orlando, which is her hometown.

    JENNINE CAPÓ CRUCET’s most recent book is My Time Among the Whites.

    A writer, vocalist and sound artist, LATASHA N. NEVADA DIGGS’ interdisciplinary work has been featured at the Brooklyn Museum, the Poesiefestival in Berlin, Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and elsewhere. She is the author of TwERK.

    Poet TERRI WITEK and visual artist CYRIACO LOPES co-teach poetry in the expanded field at MFAofA. Witek’s most recent book is The Rattle Egg. Lopes’ work has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in Rio de Janeiro, El Museo del Barrio in NYC, and elsewhere.

    URAYOÁN NOEL is the author of Transversal and seven other books of poetry, as well as books of poetry translation and scholarship.

    A writer and filmmaker, VERONICA GONZALEZ PEÑA is the author of the novel The Sad Passions, among other books. Her films include On Becoming, Cordelia, and Pat Steir: Artist.

    Publisher of Burrow Press (now based at Stetson) RYAN RIVAS is the Coordinator of MFA Publishing at MFAofA. He is the author of the forthcoming image/text collection Nextdoor in Colonialtown.

    Founding editor of Copilot Press and co-founding editor of A Bolha Editora, STEPHANIE SAUER is the author of Almonds are a Member of the Peach Family and The Accidental Archives of the Royal Chicano Air Force.

    SHELBY SMOTHERMAN is MFAofA’s resident Tech Goddess. She  is a writer, artist, and theatrical technician working in the Tampa Bay Area.
